New Canvas User Interface - Fall 2015

Canvas Has a New Look for Fall 2015

A new Canvas user interface (UI) was released on August 31, 2015. When you login to Canvas, you’ll see an updated layout for your account Dashboard and a different location for the Global Navigation Menu.

In the new UI, your selected “favorite courses” will be displayed as “course cards.”

If you prefer to see a list of recent activities in your Dashboard, you can select the “Activity” view.

You’ll also notice that the Global Navigation Menu has moved from the top of the screen to its new location on the left side of the screen. This provides more screen space for your content in Canvas.

The Account link now shows all your user account information such as your Profile, Settings, Notifications, Files, and ePortfolios. This is also where you can log out of Canvas.
