Announcing Canvas Tier 1 Support

The Stanford Canvas team is happy to announce that we have engaged with Instructure to offer you Canvas Tier 1 Support. More specifically you will now have access to 24/7 phone and chat support.  

Chat Support

To access Canvas chat support:  

  1. Log into Canvas
  2. Navigate to the Help menu

Click on the option: Canvas the 24/7 Help: Live Chat with Instructure Support.

Phone Support

Canvas Tier 1 phone support hotline for faculty, teaching staff and students can be reached at:  1-833-277-2031.

Once you have successfully placed a call, you will be prompted to identify your affiliation:

  • Press #1 for Graduate School of Business affiliates
  • Press #2 for faculty, teaching staff and students from any other school/department

If the Tier 1 agent is unable to successfully address your Canvas related issue(s), s/he will file a ticket with our local support staff, who will then address your ticket during normal business hours.

Tickets

Tickets submitted through the Canvas Help Form, Stanford GoCanvas Website Form, and Direct Email will continue to be addressed  by the local Stanford Canvas support team by the next business day.
