Scheduled Feedback in Gradebook
Starting 12/13/25, instructors can manage the visibility timing of grades and feedback for individual assignments. Timing for grades and comments can be set to be released at the same time, or comments can be set to release prior to grades. Grades cannot be released prior to comments. Scheduling feedback and grades is only currently supported for Assignments, not Discussions or Quizzes. A grade must also be entered for the scheduling to work.
Bulk Unpublish Simple Published Files
Starting 12/3/25, files added to the Modules tool will be included when performing the 'Unpublish module and all items' action. Any file set to the Published state will be unpublished during the bulk unpublish action. Files in any other state (e.g. Available by link only, or Scheduled date) will remain published. Files with Institution or Public visibility are also not supported.
Student View Button Text Change
The button text to access Student View has been changed from Enter Student View to View as Student.
Fall 2025 Canvas Courses
Fall 2025 Canvas courses are currently available. If you are listed as the official instructor of record on Axess, but do not see the Canvas course on your dashboard, please contact canvashelp@stanford.edu.
